JOB TITLE:Planner/Scheduler-II JOB DESCRIPTION: Education:4-year B.S./B.A. degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering Experience:3-5 years of planning/scheduling experience Skills: (these will be tested during the interview process) ï?• Proven ability to perform advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel ï?• Proven ability to analyze customer demand requirements to calculate an appropriate safety stock, then use supply characteristics and inventory holdings to calculate an appropriate production plan ï?• Proven ability to summarize and communicate complex issues or situations to senior stakeholders Preferred qualifications Education Advanced degree in business or supply chain Professional Certifications: ï?• APICS, CPM, or equivalent ï?• Lean or Six Sigma ROLE OVERVIEW: Reporting to the PP&L Manager, the ideal candidate will possess: ï?• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills ï?• The ability to actively participate in conversations and decisions of a technical nature ï?• Skill in developing strong, trust-based relationships with internal & external stakeholders ï?• A self starter with an active passion for positive change including processes, skills & technology ï?• Self awareness and influencing skills ï?• A high degree of professionalism The position is a member of the MD&D Make PP&L team and must be able to demonstrate both a practical and intellectual understanding of the company and MD&D businesses and how the Warsaw, Indiana facility fits into those networks. ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following actions, activities & behaviors are expected from the individual filling this position and are required to be completed with competence, efficiency and minimal supervision: ï?• Schedule production aligning to MRP signals and business objectives ï?• Ensure minimal backorder and maintain safety stock into the primary distribution hub ï?• Manage the placement & flow of shop work orders to ensure smooth, uninterrupted flow to manufacturing ï?• Develop strong working relationships with all internal & external stakeholders ï?• Communicate risks and/or changes that will impact the supply of material or finished goods ï?• Set-up and maintain finished good master data elements in relevant ERP systems ï?• Maximize the utilization and functionality of SAP ï?• Manage finished product inventory levels to hit quantity and dollar value targets ï?• Proactively identify, manage and implement process improvements ï?• Partner closely with purchasing to communicate issues and concerns that impact needed production ï?• Conduct business and manage personal conduct in line with the Johnson & Johnson Credo and all local, state and federal laws ï?• Minimize the environmental, health and safety effects of daily work-related activities ï?• Seek to constantly expand and improve on skills and knowledge base ï?• Other duties required by the PP&L team leader ï?• Quantitative performance measures/metrics (may change with business requirements) ï?• Customer service – specifically Line Item Fill Rate (LIFR) and backorder value ï?• Inventory value at primary hub ï?• Percentage of codes at safety stock ï?• Plan attainment (both aggregate & code-level mix) ï?• Production plan adherence Why Kelly ® ?
